Got a special someone who you would like to spend an evening with stargazing in New Brighton’s beachside hot pools?
Then make sure you book in for one of He Puna Taimoana’s new Friday night ‘After Hours’ events that will take place outside the complex’s usual opening hours.
The After Hours events are being introduced on a trial basis, with the first one planned for this Friday from 8 to 10pm.
“New Brighton has some great hospitality businesses that are open late so couples can combine a soak in the hot pools with drinks or an evening meal to create a really special night out,” Ms Skipper says.
Bookings for the After Hours events sessions can be made through the He Puna Taimoana website.
People who are He Puna Taimoana members also need to book and pay to attend After Hours.
Initially the pools were scheduled to be open in late 2019, however this has now been changed to March 2020.
