Welcome to the Lumière Cinema Christchurch
We are a boutique cinema located in the Arts Centre’s West Lecture building. Lumière has two theatres – The Bernhardt seating 67 and The Bardot which seats 42. We feature state-of-the-art technology with vintage ambiance, luxurious seating and a focus on service.
Located at Level 2 of Lumiere Cinemas is our lovely, cosy and warm Bijou Bar, there you’ll find all things catering for your taste pallete with an outstanding view of the Christchurch Botanical Gardens at your doorstep. Opening early evenings thru to after the start of the last show of the evening let us entertain you in relaxing surroundings either pre or after show.
