Watch this comedian turn ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ into a COVID-19 anthem
Comedian Dana Jay Bein has taken the iconic words of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and has turned them into an anthem for these trying times during the coronavirus outbreak.
Dana first dipped his toes in the lyric rewriting with Billy Joel’s ‘We Didn’t Start the Fire’; and now, it’s Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ that’s getting its own Coronavirus-themed lyrics.
In these trying times, this is just what we need to remind us of our humanity. Thanks to musicians and comedians, we can stay grounded and united while we isolate ourselves.
I've lost my mind.
I wrote Coronavirus Rhapsody:
Is this a sore throat?
Is this just allergies?
Caught in a lockdown
No escape from reality.
“I’ve lost my mind,” said Bein. “I wrote Coronavirus Rhapsody: is this a sore throat, is this just allergies? Caught in a lockdown no escape from reality…”
The internet approved—to put it mildly! More than 580,000 people have already liked the tweet, and some fans are taking it a step further, setting Bein’s words to music for our edification:
