We’ve got a range of kids programs, day-care facilities and lessons to cater for kids of all abilities! Kids 10 and under ski free at Mt Hutt with a free lift pass. Kids lesson and hire packages are available for kids aged 5 -17. For younger kids we have Skiwiland for ages three months – five years.

Mt Hutt has been voted New Zealand’s best ski resort four years running at the World Ski Awards. A true alpine experience, with wide open terrain with leg burning runs, monster snowfalls, and spectacular views. You’ve not skied in New Zealand until you’ve skied Hutt.
Sit back and enjoy a chairlift ride to world famous views overlooking the Canterbury Plains and back to the main divide of the Southern Alps. Suitable for all and perfect for families! Last chair from 3:30pm.
Scenic Lift Passes are available to purchase at Guest Services at Mt Hutt and operates subject to mountain conditions. One pass gives a single chairlift ride.
