Kiwi born Jen Barnett launched Paperswan after spotting a gap in the Wellington bridal market. Jen’s early career was in media before she went to work for British bridal and womenswear designer Stewart Parvin, who is not only couturier to Her Majesty the Queen but has also designed for other members of the royal family.

After being based in London for 15 years, Jen returned home to set up business on her own. Her vision was to bring new and inspiring bridal labels to New Zealand and Christchurch, while also creating an unforgettable experience while shopping for your wedding dress.

Situated in the newly developed McKenzie & Willis building in central City Christchurch our second wedding dress store is luxe industrial with sky high ceilings, exposed wood beams and a splash of metallic and animal print.
