Mitchelli's Cafe Rinato Christchurch

Mitchelli’s was created by the Mitchell family Ewan, Liz and their daughters Penny and Georgina. It was originally located amongst the earthy brick walls of the Poplar lanes in the city of Christchurch and first opened its doors in March 2008.
Mitchelli’s was a family operation with Georgina in the kitchen, Penny out front, her husband Cristian on coffee, and Ewan and Liz behind the scenes.

With a slight change in name, now Mitchelli’s café Rinato (meaning reborn in Italian) we hope to be able to bring a similar look and ambiance to our new premise, having salvaged the stairs, balustrades and awnings from our old site.

We are looking forward to welcoming back all our old customers who became our friends and are excited to meet our new ones.
