This is Waseem Daraghmeh and his daughters, victims of the Christchurch shooting  they remain in critical condition.

This is Haji-Daoud Nabi, a refugee from Afghanistan. He was shot as he threw himself in front of another worshipper to shield them from the gunman at the Deans Ave mosque, his son Omar Nabi said. He founded a mosque, became the president of the local Afghan Association, and did work on behalf of refugees in NewZealand.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adeeb Sami took a bullet in his back while trying to protect his two sons during the devastating terrorist attack at the Noor Mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand. Adeeb was rushed to a hospital where he underwent surgery to extract the bullet and is now stable. Adeeb is a Dubai-based New Zealander of Iraqi origin who heads the Al Ain and Oman operations of engineering consultancy Aecom Middle East.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is Ara Parvin age 42, she and her husband, Farid, left Bangladesh and settled in NewZealand in 1994. Years ago Farid grew ill, and had to use a wheelchair. On Friday, as the terrorist aimed at Farid, Ara jumped in front of the bullets. He lived. She died.
